👀 A glimpse of what you can expect today
  • 🇸🇪 Meet Hanna

  • 🏢 Company culture is not built in the office

  • 🏃 Don’t forget to take breaks

  • 🧑‍💻 5 Ways to Work Remotely (and Effectively)

And of course… Your weekly remote work tips!

 👋 Meet Hanna (🇸🇪)

I’ve been following Hanna for quite some time on LinkedIn. I discovered her profile when she worked for Deel as Director of Sales. She has been talking a lot about the Future Of Work and Remote Work was a part of it!

Today, Hanna has launched her own two businesses: Huntrs and Hanna Larson Consulting. She advises companies on their Go-To-Market Strategies, helps founders build their personal brands, and helps companies build high-performing teams.

As a big fan of asynchronous communication, Hanna can work from anywhere: coffee shop, at home, airport, on the plane, in the car, or while traveling. It doesn’t matter. As long as the setup is appropriate to the work that has to be done at that specific moment.

I think you get it: Hanna is a huge fan of remote work and couldn’t go back to the traditional forced office setup. And you know what? I don’t blame her 😎

💡 Hanna’s Remote Work tips:

Own your calendar
create blocks of time for everything

 Be ruthless with taking breaks
It’s the best way to stay productive and not burn out

Say no to useless meetings that waste your time
Focus on what really matters and will bring in results

Your location matters
Choose a location and environment appropriate to the work you need to do that day

🎁 BONUS: to not feel lonely as a remote worker
Create the environment and social gatherings you want to have. Working remotely is not isolation, it's just on YOU to create the work-life you want to have. Make sure to surround yourself with the right people

🗽 Hanna’s must-see in Sweden:

Hanna couldn’t pick just one must-see but responded very firmly: “Swedish Summers are the best!”

🧑‍🏫 Tips to land a remote job

Another week, another tip to help you land a remote job and level up your remote career 😎

TIP OF THE WEEK:

Treat every resume you send like a motivation letter.

What does that mean?

Every company is different and they all look for different skills.

These skills are always mentioned in the job description.

→ Adapt your resume using the keywords they use!

Simple trick, great results 🔥
